Time sure does fly!
WOW...today we celebrate the day my first baby was born. Brenden turns 11 today...it seems like only yesterday that we were speeding down the road to the hospital!! Not only does he turn 11 today, but in two weeks he starts the 6th grade. Mom sure is depressed, but not as depressed as I will be when I drop him off the first day of school for his last year in elementary school!! Time sure does need to slow down, I'm not ready to get old!!

Family fun
So on Saturday I took Brenden, Kalli and Jordyn to the Kearns Day parade. It was a blast and I think the kids had fun. I brought the camera to take pictures of all the fun that they were having and wouldn't you know it, as soon as I pulled it out and went to take a picture, the camera so kindly told me that the battery was dead...so, no pictures of the kids having fun. After the parade Mom, Dad, Brenden, Kalli, Jordyn and I went to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch. I was yummy as always! After lunch I had to hurry home because I had to go to a baby shower for my nephew, Cameron and his girlfriend. They are having a baby girl and we are so proud of them both!! Congrats Vance and Kelli on being grandparents-to-be!!

One month!!
Wow, I can't believe that my little baby Jordyn will be one years old in a little more than a month!! WHERE oh where has the time gone? I seems like only yesterday that I was cuddling her in my arms when she was sleeping, now I have to put her in her bed because she gets SO HEAVY. It's been a blast watching her learn to sit up on her own and watching her crawl around. I'm glad that I was able to see her reaching all these milestones. I was afraid that I was going to miss all the milestones since I work full time. Even though I'm going to regret saying this (you know, because the minute I do then it will happen), I can't wait for her to start learning how to walk. She's already into everything anyway, it won't be any different....that's what I have to keep telling myself so that when she does start walking it won't be so nerve racking!!
